The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is all set to release the IBPS PO Notification 2026 for the Common Recruitment Process PO/MT-XVI on its official website ibps.in in June–July 2026. This is the most awaited banking recruitment notification of 2026 for graduates who want to build a career as a Probationary Officer (PO) in a Public Sector Bank in India.

IBPS PO 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
  • Final year students who will complete graduation before the interview date may also apply (subject to confirmation in notification).

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 20 years
  • Maximum: 30 years (as on the date mentioned in notification)
  • Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years

Nationality: Indian citizen

Computer Literacy: Basic computer proficiency expected. Some banks may test this during interviews.
